Explore Zurich by Night in Black & White!

Street photography is all about being fully present and noticing those little moments that tell powerful stories. I can teach you to look differently and find these stories. I’ll share tips on creative composition and the best camera settings for night photography. Most importantly, we’ll embrace the joy of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary through the lenses of our cameras.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the area around Zurich Hauptbahnhof, starting right inside the beautiful main hall. That’s where we’ll dive into ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and experiment with dreamy, blurry shots. From there, we’ll make our way through the vibrant Europaallee, heading toward the architectural masterpiece that is the Negrellisteg — a striking pedestrian bridge that offers great lines and perspectives. We’ll cross the tracks and slowly circle back to the main station. The walk will take approximately two hours at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to shoot and explore.

You can bring any camera (mobile phone, digital camera etc.). Travel light, no tripod needed.

I speak English, German, Swiss German and of course, my mother tongue Dutch, fluently.

Workshop Info

We’ll kick off the evening with a quick drink at a nearby café — my treat! This is a great chance to get to know each other, share expectations and discuss any specific wishes you might have for the workshop.

You can bring any camera (mobile phone, digital camera etc.).

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy allows for a full refund if you cancel at least 10 days prior to the workshop date. For cancellations made less than 10 days before the workshop, no refund will be given, but you may choose to attend another workshop hosted by me.
