Street photography is all about being fully present and noticing those little moments that tell powerful stories. I can teach you to look differently and find these stories. I’ll share tips on creative composition and the best camera settings for street photography and striking ICM images. Most importantly, we’ll embrace the joy of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary through the lenses of our cameras.
In this workshop, we'll explore Basel's contrasts — the modern architecture of Messe Basel, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the Old Town, the Rhine, and the cobbled lanes and half-hidden courtyards where the light shifts with every corner.
Discovering Basel through my lens made me fall in love with this city. Come with me and let me show you Basel through my eyes!

We’ll start our day with a coffee or tea at a local café — my treat! This is a great chance to get to know each other, share expectations and discuss any specific wishes you might have for the workshop.
I speak English, German, Swiss German and of course, my mother tongue Dutch, fluently.
To get the most out of this workshop, you should already feel comfortable adjusting your camera’s exposure settings — aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
