“I participated in Katja's first night street photography workshop in Zürich. I had been following her on Instagram for quite some time and loved her work, so was happy to see that she decided to offer workshops!
We were a small group of 5 participants, so we all got personal attention and guidance from Katja, according to our needs or wishes. She made sure we all knew what we were doing, answered any questions we had, and assisted with technical issues. She showed us lots of creative ways to shoot at night; through screens, blurring figures, panning, finding leading lines or pools of light, and plenty more. About as much knowledge and practice you can put into roughly 3 hours! It really opened my eyes to new possibilities in my own photography, that I'm now trying to put into practice.
Not only was Katja a fantastic teacher who made sure everyone got exactly what he wanted and more out of this workshop,she was also a fun and kind person to be around, and one could feel the passion, dedication and creativity that go into her photography.
Already now looking forward to more photo walks and workshops with Katja!”

Der Streetphotography-Workshop Zürich by Day mit Katja hat mein Mindset komplett verändert. Ich bin als Anfänger gestartet, neugierig, aber noch etwas unsicher – und rausgekommen bin ich mit einer völlig neuen Sicht auf die Straßenfotografie.
Katja hat mir nicht nur die technischen Grundlagen nähergebracht, sondern vor allem gezeigt, wie entscheidend das Spiel zwischen Licht und Schatten ist. Seit dem Workshop sehe ich Motive, die mir früher nie aufgefallen wären. Besonders fasziniert bin ich jetzt von Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografie mit starkem Kontrast – sie hat für mich eine ganz neue Tiefe und Ausdruckskraft bekommen.
