Hot, Hotter, Hottest
While extreme temperatures force us all to stay cool and slow down, I’m trying to use the indoor time to finally edit those photos that have been waiting patiently to become the best versions of themselves.
Those of you who have been to my workshops know that editing is definitely not my favorite part of the process. That's why I prefer to get everything right directly in-camera while shooting in JPEG (and in RAW as a backup), so that by the time I sit down at my computer, a photo takes me a maximum of 2 minutes to finalize. With an iced coffee by my side, escaping the heat is actually quite nice this way.
Last workshops before the summer break!
There’s a special vibe in the city these days. It’s emptier than usual, with everyone chilling close to the lake and river to cool off. If it wasn’t for the heat, it would be the perfect setting to get out and practice some street photography.
So, that’s exactly what I will be doing this weekend!
This Friday, July 3rd in Zurich and Saturday, July 4th in Lucerne, my Fuji X-T5 and I will head out to capture those special summer stories that most people just walk right by. I want to capture that magical moment in the evening when a long, warm day fades, the city comes alive again, and people start moving around.
Want to escape the house, grab your camera and chase the evening light with me? There are still a few places left!

Stay cool, drink plenty of water, and hope to see you this weekend!
